Terminal sires
Stock bulls
Sound, well-grown bulls to put shape and growth into the next crop of calves.
Home · The Herd
A mix of quality beef cattle, chosen to suit our grass and our climate, and kept the way we would want any animal kept.
We keep good commercial beef cattle — mostly continental crosses with plenty of native blood — picked for growth, temperament and their ability to thrive on grass.
Type matters more to us than fashion. A beast has to have the frame to grow, the constitution to stay sound, and the quietness to handle well. Get that right and the rest follows.

Terminal sires
Sound, well-grown bulls to put shape and growth into the next crop of calves.

Continental crosses
Big-framed, fast-growing types that convert grass and forage into weight.

Native blood
Hardy, thrifty cattle with the constitution to thrive on our ground.

On grass
Weanlings and stores brought on steadily through the grazing season.

Finishing
Cattle in their final stage, fed and watched to reach a proper finish.

The setting
Sheltered, well-fenced paddocks that make the most of South Armagh grass.
Contented cattle do better — so quiet handling and close attention are part of the daily routine, not an afterthought.
Every group is walked and looked over each day so anything amiss is caught early and dealt with quickly.
Grass and forage backed by the right minerals, so cattle get what they need at every stage of growth.
Good facilities and a quiet approach keep stress low for the animals and safe for the people working them.
