Cattle from field to finish
Whether you are buying, selling or just want cattle looked after properly, this is the ground we cover.
Rearing & growing
We bring on store and weanling cattle steadily on a forage-led system, giving young stock the time and grass to lay down good frame and condition before finishing.
Finishing for beef
In the final stage cattle are fed to a proper finish, with weight and cover watched closely so they meet the grade in prime condition at the right time.
Grassland & forage
Managing grazing, reseeds and winter forage so the land carries stock well through the year and keeps improving season on season.
Buying & selling
Trading store and finished cattle fairly at the mart or direct — sourcing the right type for a buyer, and selling our own on their merits.
Winter housing
Cattle housed and bedded through the worst of the weather, fed good silage and kept comfortable, clean and thriving until turnout.
Herd health & welfare
A sensible routine of dosing, minerals and close daily observation, working with the vet to keep cattle healthy, quiet and doing well.
Straight dealing, however it suits
Some cattle go through the local mart; others are sold direct, farmer to farmer. Either way you get an honest description of the animal in front of you and a fair, up-front price. No surprises, no stories.
